Travelled extensively, and wrote diaries of his journeys which are in the College library. Mentioned by Dorothy Wordsworth who travelled in a coach with him from Leicester to Cambridge in 1810. Died Apr. 9, 1840, in his College rooms, and buried in the (old) ante-chapel.
