Lived in seclusion, occasionally writing for periodicals.
Resigned, his fellowship, 1829, owing to religious doubts.
Author of Corpus Poetarum Latinorum, and of Verses . Became deeply involved in debt, being assisted by his friend W. M. Praed, who paid his debts, and settled on him an income of £52 p.a.; Trinity College added £20, and he managed thus to support himself.
Lived alone in London , and became very eccentric.
Invariably known as Sidney Walker.
Died Oct. 15, 1846.
A collection of his letters and poems was published, 1852.
