Called to the Bar, Feb. 1, 1802. One of the six clerks in Chancery, 1815-42. F.S.A. 1807. Collector and editor of early English works. Resided first at Newport, then at Ryde, Isle of Wight , where he set up the 'Beldornie Press' at his House, Beldornie Tower. Married Sarah E., dau. of T. Brown, and had issue.
