Assumed the name of Trevor by Royal Licence, Oct. 28, 1824, on succeeding to the estates of the Trevors of Glynde, Sussex . M.P. for Carmarthenshire , 1820-31 and 1832-52. Succeeded as 4th Baron, Apr. 9, 1852. A.D.C. to the Queen, 1852-69. Vice-President of the Royal Cambrian Institution. Provided the railings enclosing the Crimean memorial in Broad Sanctuary, Westminster. Married, Nov. 27, 1824, Frances, eldest dau. of Lord Charles Fitzroy, and had issue. Died Oct. 7, 1869.
