Established the Heart of Africa Mission, 1913. Inherited a fortune in 1886, which he devoted to Christian work. Married, 1888, in China , Priscilla Livingstone, dau. of William Stewart, of Lisburn, Co. Antrim , and had issue. Died July 16, 1931, at Ibambi, Belgian Congo .
