Thomas RINGSTEAD Alias: Thomas DE RYNGESTEDE D.D. Probably a native of Ringstead, Norfolk . Bishop of Bangor [ Caernarvonshire ], 1357 . Lectured in theology at Cambridge [ Cambridgeshire ]. Subsequently became a dominican and was appointed penitentiary to Innocent VI. Died in the Dominican monastery at Shrewsbury [ Shropshire ], 08 Jan., 1365/6. Buried at Blackfriars, London .
