Came to London, 1796, to attend the Hunterian School of Medicine, and studied occasionally at St Thomas's Hospital. Demonstrator in Anatomy at St Bartholomew's Hospital, 1798. Lecturer on Comparative Anatomy and Physiology at St Bartholomew's Hospital, 1800-11. M.R.C.S., 1800. Practised, as a surgeon, in London 1800-13. F.R.S., 1811. Surgeon to the Royal Radnor Militia, 1803-12. M.D., St Andrews, 1813. Adm. at Trin. College, Dublin, Nov. 1, 1819; B.A., Dublin, 1824.
