Married Dec. 25, 1830, Susannah, elder dau. of George Penrice, of Elmbridge, Worcs., and had issue two daughters. Author, Sermons and of 'fragments' attributed to Isaac Barrow, D.D., collected and edited from the MSS. in the University and Trinity College Libraries, 1834; these manuscripts turned out to be spurious; Suggestions for a practical use of the Papal aggression. Died Dec. 24, 1869, at his residence, Mauldeth Hall, near Manchester.
