His children predeceased him. Author, Vindication of the Parian Chronicle; The Holy Bible with Critical, Philosophical and Explanatory Notes, 1812, in 3 vols., 'which will ever remain a monument of Christian zeal and erudition,' etc. Died Apr. 13, 1844, at 55, Hunter Street, Brunswick Square, London.
