Institution of Great Britain. Married (1) Aug. 2, 1782, Elizabeth Hobson, of
Hackney, and had issue; (2) Caroline –. His children predeceased him. Author,
Vindication of the Parian Chronicle; The Holy Bible with Critical,
Philosophical and Explanatory Notes
, 1812, in 3 vols., 'which will ever
remain a monument of Christian zeal and erudition,' etc. Died Apr. 13, 1844,
at 55, Hunter Street, Brunswick Square, London. Buried in the catacombs of the
