1883; B.A. 1886. An artist; studied for some years in Italy. Exhibited his
landscape paintings at the New Gallery, the Salon, and the R. Academy. Member
of the R.B.A., 1902. Designed the War memorial in East Downe churchyard. Lived
at Summerhill, Benenden, Kent. Died July 31, 1924, at Barnstaple. An
appreciation of his work appeared in the Studio, Dec. 1924, with
reproductions of two of his landscapes. Brother of the above. (Who was
