Called to the Bar, June 27, 1794. On the Norfolk Circuit, and leader of it for some time. Recorder of Tamworth (the last), 1817-42. 'The most notorious drunkard in the University,' according to Gunning. Kept his coffin under his bed for many years. Died Jan. 6, 1852, at Cambridge. M.I. in St Giles's church. (Rugby Sch.
