Married, 1820, Mary, dau. of Thomas Chippendall, of Blackburn, Lancs. Held in
high esteem by men of widely different convictions on political and religious
subjects. Author, Ministerial Fidelity and Zeal, A Sermon, etc. Died
suddenly July 12, 1867, at The Palace, Londonderry. Buried in grounds of St
Columba Cathedral, Derry. M.I. there and in Lancaster parish church.
