Mag., 1854, II. 645, this lady was the daughter of a shoemaker at Cambridge; 'her personal attractions captivated the Earl while pursuing his studies at Trinity College']; (2) Aug. 29, 1855, Katherine, dau. of Henry Cocks. Died s.p. Jan. 2, 1883, at Bradgate Park, Leics., when the Earldom of Warrington and barony of Delamere became extinct and the Earldom of Stamford with the barony of Grey of Groby descended to his cousin Harry.
