Went to Madras and helped to found the North Tinnevelly Mission and to Mauritius, where he founded the C.M.S. Mission. In charge of Tamil Cooley Mission in Ceylon, 1867. Returned to Madras, where he did much good service. Died there, 1878. Buried in the Cathedral. 'David Fenn Hostel,' Madras, erected as memorial. Brother of Charles H. (1858), etc. (F.
