an estate at Gt Tew, Oxon, K.B. 1626. Succeeded as
2nd Viscount, 1633. M.P. for Newport, Isle of Wight, in the
parliaments of 1640. Secretary of State, 1642. Killed at
Newbury, Sept. 20, 1643, on the Royalist side. ( D.N.B. )
