Brewster, William. Matric. pens. from PETERHOUSE, Dec. 3, 1580. S. of William and Prudence, of Scrooby, Notts. B. 1565. Entered the service of William Davison, secretary to Queen Elizabeth, 1584. Went with him to the Low Countries. Joined the separatists, and retired to Amsterdam, 1608; and to Leyden, 1609. Sailed in the Mayflower, 1620.
