Latterly undertook the publication of Sir Guy Laking's work on European Arms and Armour. F.S.A. Served on the Council of the Publishers' Association, 1896-1926; President, 1906-9. Edited and contributed to a series of Monographs on English Cathedrals (Bell, Cathedral series); edited Lessing's Laokoon; also Goethe's Early Letters, etc.
