Went to Leyden about 1610. Married (1) a daughter of Dr
Burgess, chaplain to Sir Horace Vere, Governor of Brielle,
Holland; (2) Joane, dau. of Giles Fletcher (1565). Attended
the Synod of Dort, 1618-9. Professor of Theology at Franeker,
1622, and afterwards rector, 1626. Retired to Rotterdam, 1633,
where he died in November, aged 57. Author, Medulla Theologiae,
De Conscientia
