Returned to England , 1643, with his half-brother Col. Israel Stoughton. Presented by Oliver Cromwell to St Matthew's, Ipswich [ Suffolk ], 11 Jul., 1655. C. of St Mary-at-Elms [???]. Afterwards conformed. Ord. priest (Bishop Brownrigg, of Exeter) 08 Aug., 1659, and held his livings till his death. Buried at St Mary-at-Elms [???], 06 Jan., 1694/5. Father of the next.
