Resided for some time, his tutor being Robert Swayle. Afterwards studied at Leyden [ Holland ]. Professor at Wittenberg [ Germany ] and Heidelberg [ Germany ]. Librarian at Heidelberg [ Germany ], where he lost his books at the siege of 1622 . There is a copy of his portrait in Caius College. Died at Heidelberg [ Germany ], 20 Sep., 1627.
