Married as his first wife, Sarah, dau. of Charles (Lennox), Duke of Richmond, June 2, 1762 (this marriage was dissolved by Act of Parliament, May 14, 1776; Lady Sarah afterwards married Colonel The Hon. George Napier). Well known on the racecourse; owner of the winner of the first 'Derby.' Died s.p. Mar. 31, 1821. Brother of Henry W. (1768).
