A native of the Peloponnesus.
Persecuted by the Turkish governor of Athens. Escaped,
and landed at Yarmouth, 1608. The Bishop of Norwich
sent him to TRINITY, Cambridge. Removed to Balliol, Oxford,
1610; where he studied and taught Greek. Author, classical.
